Hey there! I'm Malia.
I'm your lesson planner, curriculum designer and homeschooling cheerleader.
I started teaching 16 years ago and fell instantly smitten with making learning fun for kids.
I LOVED teaching and so, when I was halfway through my maternity leave for my second son, Grant, I started a blog called Playdough to Plato where I shared math games, alphabet activities, etc. I was doing with our then-3 year old.
That blog quickly grew from one website to four and now, for the last 9-ish years, I've been creating and sharing teaching activities with educators from around the world.
I have a Master's in Education from Stanford University and earned National Board Teaching Certification - the highest level available to US teachers.
